Biography

Dr. Sunny Kung is a board-certified internist specializing in addiction medicine practicing at our Haverhill/Primrose, MA location. She attended the University of California Berkeley for her undergraduate degree in Bioengineering. She later received her medical degree from the Pritzker School of Medicine at the University of Chicago. After medical school, Dr. Kung completed her training in Internal Medicine- Primary Care at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and her fellowship in addiction medicine with Massachusetts General Hospital (CareZone Van, Boston Healthcare for the Homeless). She also completed a program with Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates in Population Medicine & Management Leadership. Her clinical interests include addiction medicine, anti-racism, and social justice. She is fluent in Mandarin Chinese. In her free time, she enjoys rock climbing, hiking, traveling, and cooking. She also participates in advocacy, op-ed, and narrative writing.
