To our patients and the communities we serve,

We want you to know that we are here for you and we will do everything we can to help you through this difficult and stressful period. As an organization, we have come together and tackled this unprecedented and ongoing virus that will continue for an unforeseen time. Our clinicians and staff have been working tirelessly since the beginning of this pandemic in providing access and delivering healthcare that you deserve through a telemedicine platform.

We are performing virtual visits to ensure the safety of our patients and staff and accommodate our local communities with flattening and eventually reducing the curve. These virtual appointments can be used for initial COVID-1 9 screenings and routine exams as well as to help support those with chronic diseases, such as diabetes while being at home. From pediatric visits to seniors who have a question about their prescription medications, the use of telemedicine, by either phone or video provides greater access to a clinician.

Recently, we opened a Respiratory Illness Clinic (RIC) at our Riverwalk ExpressCare location to accommodate any COVID 19 related respiratory ailments such as coughs, shortness of breath, and fevers.

With the latest Massachusetts Department of Health COVID-19 statistics, we appear to have reached a plateau with signs of a downward trend. We will be assessing our next steps over the coming weeks to begin scheduling well-patient visits, non-urgent care, elective procedures, and the rest of our services.

Medicine as you know it has changed and the telemedicine “virtual visit” platform will be an integral part of our health system, your care, and Pentucket Medical ‘s operations once the pandemic is over. In preparation for this evolving change, we highly recommend you sign up for our Patient Gateway platform.

Patient Gateway is a convenient, efficient, and secure way to manage your health and communicate with your doctor’s office. Patient Gateway lets you manage your own health so you can schedule appointments, renew prescriptions, receive lab results, make co-pay and deductible payments, request referral authorizations for specialist appointments, and access quality health and wellness information at your convenience.

We are not sure what the new normal will be and when a vaccine will be available for COVID-19, but we can assure you our first priority is the safety of our patients, clinicians, staff, and the communities we serve. We will take protective measures in wearing and providing you the necessary personal protective equipment, maintaining social distancing, installing protective fixtures, and following the infection control and protocol measures in this continuous battle with COVID-19.

Thank you for supporting us and we appreciate your trust and continuance of patient care with Pentucket Medical.
