Pediatrics & Adolescent Medicine
For over 30 years, the Pediatrics group at Pentucket Medical has been caring for and addressing the complete healthcare needs of infants, children, adolescents and young adults. Recognizing that adolescents have specific needs and face particular pressures, Pentucket Medical has physicians who specialize in Adolescent Medicine.
Our pediatricians and nurse practitioners know how important it is that your children receive outstanding care. Protecting the health of your child is our first priority, which is why Pentucket Medical emphasizes preventive care. Along with treating illnesses, diagnosing and treating acute and chronic diseases, and assessing your child’s emotional and social health, we provide education about health maintenance, safety, and nutrition.
At Pentucket Medical, we enjoy watching your child grow and develop. And we take the time to develop a relationship with both you and your child. We understand the essential role of trust, respect, and communication in this on-going relationship. This is why we value listening. It’s important you and your child feel comfortable being fully open about your healthcare concerns.
Our clinical expertise and teamwork enable us to respond promptly to the needs of you and your children for information and medical attention. Our tradition has always been to provide same day appointments whenever a parent feels it’s necessary. We strive to create a pleasant, child-friendly environment, so you and your child will feel comfortable visiting the doctor.
Our pediatricians also make sure your child gets any needed specialized care. Our partnership with Massachusetts General Hospital for Children gives your child access to pediatric subspecialists in cardiology, endocrinology, and gastroenterology from the Mass General Hospital for Children in our Haverhill office. And Pentucket Medical’s on-site diagnostic services means your child doesn’t have to go to a hospital for an X-Ray of a broken arm or for a lead or anemia test.
