is a vitamin-pill-sized video capsule that has two cameras and its own light source. It is used to evaluate damage to the esophagus caused by heartburn (acid reflux). It can also be used to evaluate for possible varices. No sedation is required.

BRAVO pH STUDIES
measure pH (acid) levels in the esophagus. It is used to evaluate acid reflux as the possible cause of symptoms such as heartburn, chest pain, cough and shortness of breath.
